The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics embraced the vision of a "Green Olympics," with the Zhangjiakou competition zone shouldering critical event support duties. To supply green electricity to venues and supporting facilities in the zone, the organizing committee planned a dedicated PV project, setting extremely high requirements for low-temperature reliability, power generation efficiency, and delivery schedules.
Winter temperatures in the Zhangjiakou region drop as low as -30°C, with heavy wind and snow loads that make it difficult for ordinary PV modules and inverters to operate stably. For this high-cold, high-wind-and-snow environment, HENGZHAN ZHICHENG delivered an integrated solution combining high-efficiency mono PERC modules with three-phase string inverters:
· Mono PERC Modules: High mechanical load design, tested to withstand 5400Pa snow load / 2400Pa wind load, with low power degradation in low temperatures to ensure stable winter output;
· Three-Phase String Inverters: Full-power operation at -30°C, multi-MPPT design adaptable to complex terrain orientations, and smart IV curve diagnosis enabling remote O&M;
